Random rare fish floating past

Would be awesome to have rare large / different / weird fish swimming past - the could have a large orbit around the world.
We only have reef backs.. but they are generally in the same area.
This would give allot of wow moments... a treasure to find / sea very rare fish - collect screenshots of all

Good idea - maybe there could be a award system if you discover / catch a special amount of different species.
Some of them a very hard to find / to catch...

Getting major Skies of Arcadia flashbacks here. Which is a good thing; I love the Sea Crown and would love some more rarities.

Rewards can be the scans themselves and figurines as suggested prior here and here. Would be a decent use of plastic too...

This is a really great idea, it goes with the Subnautica feel, would solve the problem of huge empty spaces of water above the floor, and would make the game more exciting and mysterious late game.

And in my opinion there should be more eggs as well. Every creature should have their own eggs. And there should be some very special rare ones as well.
