Giant Creatures? I especially like #3.

Hi
So I have a few ideas for some creatures to add.

1. Crystal Squid
This creature is basically similar to a giant squid, but it had large purple crystals growing out of the top of it's head. It can be found in parts of the lost river(preferably the ghost canyon) and is very lethal to the player. Perhaps the player could sneakily follow this squid and it would take the player through a secret tunnel that leads to a Precursor base, maybe it has the cure for the curcur disease in it?

2.Stormfish
A large eel-like creature that is similar to the electric eel thing already in the game, except this variant has the ability to drop 'mines' which if touched would send an EMP blast that would disable nearby tech. The Stormfish is also very fast, faster then the Seamoth, but it does not do very much damage to the player.

3. ???
Imagine a massive creature, perhaps bigger then the Aurora. When you get to the end of the map, you can see it in the distance, but you can only see the faint shadow of it. If you swim out to try to get near it, it will send a warning blast, which will push whatever vehicle you are using back like 20-30 meters. Then if you try again it will make an angered noise and send a damaging electric wave, reducing whatever vehicle you are usings' health to 2/3. Then if you try AGAIN, you will hear a roar, then the shadow will whip downward very fast so you can see it disappearing into the deep. Then the player will look around, wondering where it went, then a cutscene will play where the camera is far from the vehicle/player, and the giant black shadowy creature will swim up from the bottom very quickly and devour the vehicle/player. This cutscene is unavoidable, and the beacon of the vehicle(assuming the player was inside of one) will drop lower and lower until it disappears, until 1-2 game days later(after death there will be a countdown timer of when ??? will regurgitate the ship) the beacon will reappear near the edge of where the player was eaten. If the player swims out to the spot, they will find a wreck of their vehicle with holes and slashes all over it. If they go inside they can find their items if they were in a storage unit of some sort, and all of the upgrade modules in their slots will, upon collection, turn back into raw materials.

What do you think?

A massive creature like that however cool would be to complicated to add... would need to be part of lore etc.
It's better to have the ground simply slope down to a depth no vehicle can go. That way who knows in the future they could create new biomes down there accessible through new vehicles or upgrades.

Or there could just be a giant mouth that eats you after a certain point.

I like that idea because I don't like the ever deep abyss

The problem with a giant creature eating you just for leaving the playable area is that it could feel punishing. If you die you get sent back to your base/ship and could lose a lot of travel time as well. If it were implemented there would have to be a large warning "window of time" where you can see the creature but it couldn't attack you.

Personally, I kind of like having the abyss to explore. Sometimes, just hovering right at the maximum depth in the total darkness can be oddly relaxing.

Or it would be funny to have the Precursor Gun aim and fire at you after a certain point.
What if after a certain point there was a lot of radiation and you need a special upgrade to get there and there was a secret Aurora wreck with the ship's reactor in it or something?

Something like this would be cool:

To me the Crystal Squid is nearly similar to the present Crabsquid.
I don't like a Stormfish because of the EMP-Mines Idea.
    I like your Nr. 3
