    Regardless. In today's episode we venture outside the safe shallows to a new area where there might be dry land! In and ocean game!


    You're good to post it here. Just make sure that you only post on this thread. Don't make a new thread for every new video, that just makes it annoying.

    You're good to post it here. Just make sure that you only post on this thread. Don't make a new thread for every new video, that just makes it annoying.

    I would say it depends on how often they make Subnautica Videos. If it is every week, then it is fine, but if it is every few months, then it deals with forum necromancy.

    I would say it depends on how often they make Subnautica Videos. If it is every week, then it is fine, but if it is every few months, then it deals with forum necromancy.

    It would be fine. The only bad thing about necromancy is if you resurrect a thread for no reason. If you're there to add to it, mainly if the OP is there to add to it, then it's fine.

    If the thread is resurrected because of solid, new content that contributes to the purpose of the thread I don't think it counts as a necro, does it? Especially when its the original poster that does so, or am I wrong?

    So should i change the title to let's play series and keep editing the main post as spoilers to drop down with? or just comment a new episode, these come out every week give or take.

    If you just comment each new episode in this thread, then it could become difficult trying to find a particular episode especially if the thread is 20 pages long. So IMO, the only options is edit the main post or create a new thread for each new episode. Of course, editing the main post requires a new comment stating that a new video has been posted.

    A minor note about Bloodvine in Episode 8, it is preferable to plant Blood Oil rather than Bloodvine Samples due to farming purposes, but currently you only need 6 Blood Oil and 4 Creepvine Samples for the Reinforced Dive Suit and there is nothing else that Blood Oil and Bloodvine Samples are used for. There is also the issue about whether you want your Bloodvines to have red spheres on them or not. Planting Blood Oil will allow you to harvest Blood Oil while Bloodvine samples can't harvest anything. It is the same reason why it is preferable to plant Creepvine Seed Clusters over Creepvine Samples.

    For your Bioreactor, Lantern Fruit seems to be the best since each Lantern Fruit gives 65 Energy for the Bioreactor, 5 Food, and 3 Water and there is a bunch of Lantern Fruit available on each tree.

    woah, never thought of using the lantern fruit, it'd be a lot easier too because it can be grown nearby the reactors, not spread out all over the place, thank you so much for the feedback!
