I was playing with the cyclops a little bit to check out its features and stumbled over the light switches which do lack feedback. I'd miss some red/green stuff to see if the lights are really switched on or off...
I think there is a communication problem.
ToeiRei is meaning the headlights and EvilSmoo is thinking about the lighting within the cyclops.
I totally agree with you, at the moment you can not differentiate between on and off.
Also it would be great, if you could switch between on and off from the pilot place.
I must've asked for that at least once too. It happens way too often that I run back and forth from the switches to the glass to figure out if things are on or not. There is a difference, but it's very subtle unless you are close to a surface. I can't tell with the Seamoth either if I'm not near the seafloor. Color-coded feedback on the switches would be great.
Or just move (or add another shortcut to, like a 3-way switch) the light switch to inside the driving view, on the right hand side, sort of like how the camera icon works.

The lights going out wasn't enough feedback already?

Eh? The camera doesn't activate the airhorn, only if you miss it. IIRC, anyways...
