The following link includes the dxdiag, output_log, and crash folders for 3 separate crashes. After the first one (when I lost an hour of progress,) I started saving more often, but it's still caused some wasted time and frustration.
Trigger: unknown. Appears random for now. Caused during travel 1st time, running around base 2nd time, then back to travel 3rd time. The 2 traveling crashes happened well south of the safe shallows areas.

P.S. Today, ALL I did was use my Seamoth to gather 5 sulfur, 3 nickel, and grab a few radiation-suit/other items from my Cyclops and head back towards the safe shallows in my Seamoth. ... I also saved about 4 times along the way! All this took around 5 mins, then *crash,* and this time no error message to pass to you!
PLEASE FIX ASAP. Can't use now for more than 5 minutes AND it is lagging like a '90s game on my machine that can run DOOM, Killing Floor 2, and all other comparable games on ULTRA/Highest graphics settings with NO Problem! It's a upper-midlevel, new MSI from Computer Upgrade King for crying out loud! The performance is becoming more and more disgraceful every time I try to play.
I'll leave this as unfixed and check back here if I find the above to have helped. Thanks for the idea Myrm.
Update: Trying out the experimental updates... My most unstable save before lasted between 30 min and 1 hour this time, but it still had 2 periods of ~15 sec freezes and then crashed. About to try my other saves. Will update the error uploads in the original link soon.
That means (hopefully) that the next stable version should be pretty good. Hopefully. (Unless Cthulhu slips a few tentacles into that as well.)
