more dangerous creatures and base defense

my idea is that big creatures like the reaper leviathan would attack your base like the Compartment it would grab on to it like it does with the seamoth and try to pull it out and break it witch would put a bigger use to the bulk head and for defense im thinking some kind of ion turret that will stun creatures and cause them to flee and also like the seamoth can shock the out side of its self i thinking some thing like that a button you can put inside your base that when pushed shocks the base cause creatures to flee and with the sea dragon do to its massive tentacles could grab on to the multi purpose room and with this there should be a room you can build that is like a life pod that protects you from the creatures and it would have enough space to hold a small locker to be fulled with food or water

Funny thing, not sure if it was accidental or not but I actually did have a Reaper follow me back to my home base near the starting escape pod. Was pretty intense. It kept banging against my base causing leaks and power outages. I had to finally go toe to toe with it. Felt like something out of Jaws. I would hit it with my stasis riffle and get in a few knife strikes. It would then swim off for a bit then return on the attack. Was scary but very exciting tbh. I finally got it to leave but I have to say, it was really fun. So to me, its a great idea.

I wouldn't make bases if creatures could just attack them. No point having them really if that was going to be the case. Because if you build in the begining of the game it is normally in the Grassy Plateous. If you were to then go and build in the dunes and found out this was the case you would jsut go and explore that area in the cyclops and not bother making a base there.

I don't think the Cyclops will be invulnerable forever..

Just plant a couple of tiger plants on outside growbeds and you should be fine! (until they target you, then you might have some leaks on you base -_-")

I can't imagine why they wouldn't do this

Maybe have hostile fauna ram the glass if they see you through it
