Base to base teleportation

Not sure if this would be OP or not, but a teleporter (Star Trek style) capable of teleporting you from one base to another instantly. It could be created after killing and dissecting a Warper (one per teleporter). Since I imagine Warpers would be difficult to sneak up on and kill, it could be well earned and save me a lot of unnecessary travel time.

Or have gates that you can build after scanning the precursor ones. These will go between bases and require an decent chunk of power.
