I love this game. I really do. I've been to forums and I've read comment boxes for videos and heard the ideas other people have come up with, but I have never heard this idea from anyone else. My idea is a control module or a control station meant to be inside a base. Like the vehicle modification station but inside a multipurpose room. I think it would be a good idea to be able to change the color of your home from the regular blue and gray to anything else you would want. The functions I think this upgrade should have are:
Changing the color of your base
The ability to dim the lights
Naming your base
Putting a custom beacon on your base so you can see it by name
Command your moonpools to charge your vehicles slower, if you have any
Shut or open doors if you have any
I think this would give the player a greater level of personalization in their homes. I think that the developers should see this idea if they haven't thought of it already.

Good lighting is extremely important in very dark biomes.
