My first Cyclops' initial name was Calypso, named for Jacque Cousteau's famed ship. After about an hour or so of frustration with the darned thing she was redubbed Buyer's Remorse.
H.M.S. Atlanta
Sort of a cut off from one of my favorite sci fi series, (The series was called Stargate Atlantis)
"HMS" means "Her Majesty's Ship" and is used by the British Royal Navy; Atlanta is a city here in 'Murica so your ship should be called the USS Atlanta, (USS meaning "United States Ship") which is an actual ship
I have a lot of them, But my favorite is probably the Shadow. Ill put in a picture when i have the time. Subnautica isnt on my chromebook, which dosent have my screenshots.
Originally, I was calling my Cyclops Teapot because I named my Seamoth Tempest and like a well-executed pun.
I still call my first Seamoth Tempest because, well, it's a good name. But the Cyclops has become Nautilus more often than not, although I have toyed around with more impish names.

As you can see from my icon, I love whales.
