Are you using GSync? If so, there was an issue with GSync and Unity, so try disabling it for Subnautica

No i am not using gsync, my monitor not even support it. it is s 60herts full hd 55 inch tv. so going above 60fps doesnt even do any good.
so it suppose to run better than this? with my specs.

    look at those framedrops lol

It will run better than this but not before optimization. One thing you *can* do, is make sure Subnautica is running from your SSD (as the terrain streaming does impact performance since it's not optimized yet).

If it's not on the SSD, just make a Steam library on the SSD if you haven't already, then restart Steam (if you had to make a library, that is) and right-click Subnautica > Local Files > 5th option, move files to another drive.

    Count your blessings.

    My specs:

OS: Windows 10 Home (64 bit)
RAM: 4(/8) GB RAM - 1333 MHz <--- My biggest problem
CPU: 3.0 GHz - Quad Core
    GPU: GTX 560 Ti - 1GB GDDR5
    HDD: 7200 RPM - 3 Gbps

From what I've seen, I'd be cruizin' with your specs, but mine barely meets the minimum req's, so instead I suffer from framerate drops from the passing Reefback and 1 FPS lag spikes; virtually unplayable by gamer standards.

I have to be honest, I don't think the frame rates were that bad at all. Rarely did it dip below 25 fps. I saw a vary brief second that it went to 19 fps. but most of the time you were in the high 20s-30s, even getting above 50 fps.

I'm stuck on an integrated Intel HD 530 for now, last time I played I got 20-24 FPS, dips down to single digits around wrecks. I've actually gotta pick the game up again, I did a clean reinstall of February stable update after cache clearing and backing up my old experimental saves. They're older than the stable February version, so they still work. Although I'll probably start a new save just to be sure I don't inherit anything that's been fixed.

How much RAM do you have? Like I stated above, I have 4 GB (out of a possible 8) of DDR3 Memory, running at a bandwidth of 1333 MHz.

Sadly, Windows 10 eats up almost half of that... :frowning: Wish they had a "simple mode" that saves resources.

16GB - 4GB... I don't know how it runs. They switched Subnautica to 64-bit only because it was running out of memory and crashing. Although Win 10 does compress memory when needed, so... Anyways, if you get the Win 10 Creator's Update before getting a new rig, it should help I think, as Game mode should shut down some unnecessary services while gaming.
