so it suppose to run better than this? with my specs.
look at those framedrops lol
If it's not on the SSD, just make a Steam library on the SSD if you haven't already, then restart Steam (if you had to make a library, that is) and right-click Subnautica > Local Files > 5th option, move files to another drive.
My specs:
OS: Windows 10 Home (64 bit)
RAM: 4(/8) GB RAM - 1333 MHz <--- My biggest problem
CPU: 3.0 GHz - Quad Core
GPU: GTX 560 Ti - 1GB GDDR5
HDD: 7200 RPM - 3 Gbps
From what I've seen, I'd be cruizin' with your specs, but mine barely meets the minimum req's, so instead I suffer from framerate drops from the passing Reefback and 1 FPS lag spikes; virtually unplayable by gamer standards.
thanks for the replys
How much RAM do you have? Like I stated above, I have 4 GB (out of a possible 8) of DDR3 Memory, running at a bandwidth of 1333 MHz.
Sadly, Windows 10 eats up almost half of that... Wish they had a "simple mode" that saves resources.
16GB - 4GB... I don't know how it runs. They switched Subnautica to 64-bit only because it was running out of memory and crashing. Although Win 10 does compress memory when needed, so... Anyways, if you get the Win 10 Creator's Update before getting a new rig, it should help I think, as Game mode should shut down some unnecessary services while gaming.
