Demo Recording Issues

Hey guys and gals,
I know already that there is issues with demo playback, however, I seem to have issues while recording the demos. When I record a demo ingame, first-person or spectator, I seem to get random display issues. For example, when I record a demo as a first-person I sometimes find the screen to blank out after 30 minutes with blinding white light and then re-appear with missing hud items. Is anybody having any other issues with demo recording or this just an isolated case? Thanks, can't wait to hear any feedback.
