Anyone Had This Or Can Test It ? (possible Bug)

weapon pick up causes low ammos on it
I was testing something the other day and found something but didn't have time to re-test it for confirmations.

I dropped my fully loaded HMG weapon because I was too low on health and commander was too busy to give me health

I killed my self to regain full health

Upon respawn, went to pick up that same HMG where I dropped it

As soon as I picked it up it had the same low amount of ammos as when you initialy got it from the commander. So in other words, I had lost all those ammos that I had before droping it.

So can someone test this (I'm at the office) to see if still applys and if so, it's gota be a bug

Maybe I am wrong, but I believe it only keeps what is actually loaded into it. The extra clips go away when you drop it. The most that can be in it when you pick it up from the ground is one full clip. Is that correct?

No, when you die you lose all your extra ammo. Dropping it has no effect on ammo, just dying does.

Yup, when you respawn, you're essentially another guy. Cannon-fodder actually. And since ammo cant fold time and space.....the other guy (you) doesnt have it.

I didn't mean droping the weapons by killing yourself.

I meant you specificly drop the weapons and then you kill your self.

Droping it this way should keep all the ammo, unless all the extra ammo are actualy clips you are wearing on yourself and gun has just one clip
