Hi community

I curious to know which color chosen for customized your vehicles like seamoth, cyclops and P.R.A.W.N.

Because some color combinations can make a real cool design, i need some idea/inspiration.

Please could you post some screenshots of your customized vehicule, with a small comment about the color choice.

Regards

I use a slightly darker variant of white on my seamoth. But on no other vehicle. I dont want to get carried away after all

But anybody with that thing over their head, wouldn't be seeing a whole heck of a lot, but they'd be moaning like hell.

I was trying to see if the seamoths (since they have no gravity) would fling themselves or something when the gun moved but it did nothing :(

I paint them bright colors like diving equipment. Helps to see them in the sea.

I like to give my vehicles organic colors, and sometimes I base them off of ingame creatures.
For instance, in my old save I had a white, red and black Seamoth that I named "Reaper". And in my most recent game, I made my Cyclops cyan with yellow accents and named it "Polyphemus", because the colors were based off of a Peeper and Polyphemus seemed like a good name for something massive with an equally massive, single eye.

In the same save I made my Prawn a sort of desaturated crimson and named it "King Crab". Less creative but I'm still proud.

I paint them all a variant of high-visibility yellow/yellow-green, usually leaving the stripes red and blue.

by the way, is there a specific color which make your seamoth more showy in the water depth. Because sometimes it's hard to find your seamoth in the dark after going out.

I believe if you want to see your Seamoth in the darkest of depths, this guy is your best bet.

what you really want to stick with is BRIGHT colors, sharply defined enough to mimic LED luminescence (ex bright white-blue, like daylight minus the sky). mostly just to find the seamoth in the darkness, b/c in the current build its not really enough to have the beacon on your HUD in your last 30 secs (even less time with penalties w/o a rebreather) in the airtank. Can do what ever on the cyclops (i have not tinkered with it) just park it where its not in any danger

In the darkness, lights on the seamoth are not realy seen, but the focus of lights yes. To have the seamoth beacon signal you need to be far of the seamoth, when you exit a wrek with a few oxygen left you have no time to swim away to see the seamoth beacon on your screen.
