Radio or base beacons?

I usually squirrel one or two beacons in the storage module of my SeaMoth but it still seems strange to have to use one specifically to mark my base location. I would like to see a built-in beacon added to either the multipurpose room or radio. Discuss...

Yeah I thought it slightly odd as well, you'd think a structure like a sea habitat/shelter would be constructed with a built-in transponder.

I think there should be a separate room for a beacon or maybe the beacon is in the scanner room. Having one in the multipurpose room can be very annoying once you have more than one. Especially on creative.

Fair enough, it probably makes more sense as a feature of the radio since folks are less likely to build multiple radios in a single base.

Yeah I totally don't build like 5 radios in my giant creative bases.
