I have to confirm this -equipment slots cannot be seen, except for the body slot. My fins, rebreather and high capacity tank are gone, being left with default 45 oxygen.
Starting a new game is ok, until next update happens, which is basically every day in experimental (51368 at the moment). I already restarted twice, next day slots are gone.
I've frequently seen all my slots empty when I first logon. But after I press random keys my stuff seems to come back. I think it maybe an occasional GUI glitch of some sort that only occurs some of the time when you load your game. I've tried to find some way to reproduce it so I can report it. But it has only happened so randomly I haven't had any luck.

This bug is caused by saving with the Stillsuit equipped. Remove it, save, exit and reload, and your slots will be back. (But not your equipment, that's gone).
