Yep, they are gonna make it autosave when entering the cyclops and lifepod (not sure about sea bases) (and probably autosave when exiting)
And auto save on exit. Making save scumming very very very slightly harder.
This needs to be an option we can toggle. There's a negative side to autosaving too. Personally, I like the manual save more since it allows me to go on missions that I might not come back from and save just before. Whereas an autosave feature could screw you if you find yourself in the LZ in a cyclops with no power and leeches all over it.

XBone: I think if you go to the Home screen, navigate to Subnautica, and then hit the button to the right of the home button on the controller, then select "Quit", it will do the same thing. I think.
