<div class="IPBDescription">"I know the secret to the game..."</div> I just got done playing NS, and I just had to deal with a know-it-all newbie. I was playing Gorge, with adrenaline, regeneration, and cloaking, and the **** kept telling me to go Onos and trash the marine turret factory, like he was the King of France or something! I love playing Gorge and playing around with the babbler ability. Silliness and fun is my thing, my pride and joy. Well, he said that he had only been playing for six days, and that he knew "the secret to the game". It involved grabbing as many resource towers as possible and wiping out the marines with every team member as an Onos. I told him that the idea was to have fun and to screw around, but he called us a bunch of newbie losers, and that it was sad that we couldn't evolve. Then I told him that I had been playing since the game came out, just as he was getting annihilated by turrets and marines. I walked in and used babblers and killed two marines, so the new player left. Everyone else was new to the game too, so they asked some questions, etc. The marines built about ten or so turrets around their turret factory, so attacking it proved futile. I like Gorges.

Nah, he was being a newbie for telling me what to do in a commanding tone, and for telling every single Kharaa player to go Onos. Everyone has a say in what to do, there is no Kharaa dictators. Maybe in your games, but not in the ones I play. I respect players who ask nicely and know what they're doing, but not for demanding that I go Onos when I know it won't work.
