Wallpaper Engine ($3.99 on Steam) + Subnauitca animated backgrounds = win

I gotta say, there's some really cool Subnautica backgrounds on this (I have a few of my favorites on a loop).
Also, as an aside, some of the wallpapers (like Subnautica OST) have audio, which you can go in the settings and tell it to mute the wallpaper audio if there's another audio source playing (or just to not play wallpaper audio).

EDIT: Crappy preview I threw together on YouTube here (there's no audio in that video even though I could hear it; I'd probably have to fiddle with that and select my audio out as an input or somesuch)

"Useless program"
The fun thing with wallpaper engine is that it's very easy to make your own scenes - just record an in-game video in a biome you like and use the program's built in editor. A couple of clicks and voila, you have your own wallpaper.
It's really something Wallpaper Engine should work on, they'd probably sell more copies that way.
