I'm curious.  How are people finding out about NS?  How can be raise awareness about it?  Impromptu survey time.

    i've first seen NS is PHL. after a few days i was browsing HLrally forums and i saw a post about NS. i checked out the NS Forums for a few weeks then i found RR.org and after that i was hooked.

    My first glimpse of NS was some Bast shots on PHL a loooong time ago. I didn't pay much attention back then... But I bookmarked rr.org regardless.

    So then, one night a couple months back... after giving up on UT editing... I did some serious reading on rr.org about the mod... and was hooked.

    Link from barney's world which in turn was a link from cs-nation which i check for the daily skins. Thought the maps looked good and then found (potentially) the best mod er...ever

    I think it was November 2001, PHL had a link to ns.org. It was the flash intro that got my attention, then the page layout, then the in-game movie. My jaw frickin dropped when I saw the movie :)
    I'm one of those people that's opinion of a mod is based on their webpage design (Yes I know, I'm a freak!)

    When SentrySteve found out about it from some guys on mIRC, he posted the link for me and I followed it.  At first I didn't really think much about it, and I thought it had something to do with bees (for some...odd reason)  But then of course I got more into it when steve kept on saying things like "omg NS si teh pwnz0r!!!!!111" so I checked it out again.

    I saw a long time ago on phl a link a video of the the sprite system saw that thought it was neat but didn't read much into the mod then later saw a link on PHL to RR and read an interview and then read all their interviews...that hooked me

    In sheer boredom I was going through this site here...<a href="http://www.halflifeworld.co.uk/mods/index.htm" target="_blank">HL Mods</a> and going down the list of multiplayer mods I saw this mod, the name sounded pretty spiffy and I clicked on it.  That's about it..yup.

    Hmm, back on PHL around early September from what I can remember, some shots of Bats's readyroom and I was hooked <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo--> I saw they were needing another mirror for the little movie, and I had a good server at the time and threw it on there for them. Then Monse was making the readyroom, and let's just say I would of been ashamed to have been related to this mod with a site like the one he was making (no offense Monse! <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->). I offered my skills and well..ya, thats enough history for today.

    hmmmm i dont think i really remember... it maybe was halflife.nu who got a link to natural-selection.org...then i saw the flash movie...thats when i got hooked i think.i looked on that flash movie 4 times  <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo--> i really thought that movie was great.
