<div class="IPBDescription">Hard-Drive</div> My first was 6 gig :-/ That was only my old 600 mhz dump
Then my 900 mhz came with a 18.6 gig and i've just purchased
an 80 gig (7200) for £80 :-D

Not sure how i'm gonna fill this one, probably fill it with games
I don't get round to playing, like Flashpoint and Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

So here's the question(s), how big is your hard-drive and do you feel you need some more space?

    My first hard drive was 25MB. I still remember having to delete Windows 3.1 and everything else on the drive to have enough room to play DOOM. ^_^

    The one I got now is 180GB, and I love it :D

    60GB. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    It's not the size, it's the SPEED! Right? <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    first = 250mb

    now I've got 2 for a mix of speed and size, a 27gig for speed with the OS/APPS/GAMES/SWAP on it, and a 45gig for long time storage(which actually runs out from time to time and makes me delete stuff I think I want, like 3 year old macromedia flash documentation and stuff)

    The first computer I bought (just under ten years ago) had a 300Mb hard drive, and an amazing 4Mb of RAM. Almost cutting edge, that was.

    The last one I bought was 40Gb. I still haven't had to go through it yet to delete all the useless stuff you pick up.

    You're right, speed is good. that's why I'm glad that this 180GB has 8MB of cache, making it the fastest IDE drive on earth! ^_^

    why yes, i'm bragging. :)

    I have a WD 30, Seagate 80 and WD 120. I'll be replacing my 30 with another 120 early next month, I'm nearly out of space.

    I've got a 20gb drive in here, I'm not having any space problems. The only reason I'll upgrade is for a faster drive.

    20 gigs right now, but the only game i have is half life and its mods, hehe.

    When I build a computer for my living room i'll be putting two of the biggest drives I can get into it. So that I'll be able to store all my music that I've ever had and ever WILL have. woot!

    Things that pleasure me. <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I would have gotten dual 160's but they were more significantly more expensive per gig than 120's, so I have 80 gigs less. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
