Ideas After Many Hours of Gameplay and Loving the Game

This will include ideas which probably aren't feasible, or aren't the games focus. Sometimes I just think it's fun.

1) Unlock blueprints after launching Neptune Rocket. Perhaps blueprints of some stuff found inside the Aurora, or the possibility of repairing the Aurora just for fun. Or doing something that lets the sea emperor juvenile visit your base.

2) Ore Generator - Generates ores operating similar to the Water Filter. Modules can be crafted to change the type of ore generated. Can only be unlocked after launching rocket.

3) Underwater Subway - Very unfeasible but just nice to imagine the immersion experience. Sit on a chair and it moves through glass tubes.

4) Greenhouse - Could be a room on its own, or applied like an alien containment unit?

5) Drones that can only be deployed once that retrieve a seamoth or seaprawn to the Moon Bay (Process takes very very long)

6) Larger multipurpose room that could be shaped like a rectangle?? Can fit 2 alien containment units inside.

7) An avocado plant so you can eat avocados (I'm just being silly here)

8) Platforms similar to foundations, but with less restrictions and no added structural integrity (so much uses for a flat surface)

    Everything is good, except for the avocados.

    And I thought of an underwater train months ago. Imagine going through caves and the ocean, watching the fish swim around you, and the reapers flooding it. Subways should have low integrity and flood often, to balance it. You shouldn’t be building one in the crash zone or dunes.

    Why would avocados be on this planet? The only earth plant on here is Chinese Potatoes because they are easy to grow

    @LeeTwentyThree Yep, I just thought I'd remention it. I've heard of suggestions for teleporters and subways but I thought I'd mention my interest for subways.

    Sorry about that. I was just being silly that time lol. But to change that suggestion, how about a plant that can be planted on both exterior (water) and interior (land) pots... It could be luminescent, and changing its lights depending on where it's planted. As for it's background, it could have something to do with floaters and land.

    I really like the idea of an underwater subway or at least some way to cheaply connect two bases, especially if it has a level of automation where you can kick back and enjoy the view.

    Agreed. Immersion is my favourite aspect of Subnautica. Other possibilities for fast travel:
    1) teleportation like others suggested?
    2) fast travel between points if youre less than 10m deep?
    3) Blueprints for a phase gate (short range warping), after all wasn't Alterra supposed to create one?
    4) Very fast water surface vehicle (subnautica is about going deep though)
    5) Subway (my favourite)

    Just a side note, I think the problem with currently existing phase gates is that it requires abandonment of vehicle, unless you bring your exosuit with you.
