Subnautica-Black Sky glitch

The sky in my game is pitch black, cant see far. Its like daytime with a pitch black sky. I also cant see the water. This all happens in water, when i go above water its like sone sort of wierd sunset looking sky. This happened when i reached the second island and was escaping a warper. PLEASE HELP!

(Srry game at relatives house) Its like this but the sky pitch black, water disappears but it isnt the no water glitch, you still can swim but when you go to get air or out of the water its like a weird sunset, orange in the horizon then grayer as you look up, no clouds, no planets

It happened after passing by a mushroom forest (on my way to precursor gun), black boxes appeared way more than usual as i was passing by the forest, outrunned a reaper and avoided a warper, Parked my seamoth next to the precursor gate, once i got out of my moth and walked to shore
it was the wierd sunset, though nothing wrong came back to my moth and it was all black except for animals, land aurora/ wrecks. After that ive been stuck like this

Ok, open the console (Press F3, then F8 (to get your mouse to click stuff)
then uncheck "disable console", then press enter) and type "fog", if that doesn't do anything, go back to the F3 menu and uncheck/recheck water volume, water surface, etc.

This tends to happen when the game incorrectly respawns you. just press f3, then f8 and click the boxes that say water volume and water surface. this should fix it.

@privatechrispy This is a very common glitch I have on Xbox. It usually happens when I go into the Aurora. I usually fix it like this: Pause the game, press left bumper and right bumper at the same time until you see a new tab called "developer" come up. Click it, go to "graphics", then enable "water surface" and "water volume". This usually fixes it.

@elfcrisis it's cool at first but then you kinda want it back what sucks is that there's lighting everywhere in the purple mushroom area it's not dark at all you can see it if it's like daytime above
