Bugged animation of the heated knife

When the heated knife is in my inventory, it's animation, bubbles and smoke, goes to the center of the screen. Anyone with this problem?
Someone pls solve this. thank you.

I have this same issue from time to time on my PC and have seen the same issue on a friend's game on PS4. I'd like to know how to fix it.

Yes, it's quite common to encounter this issue once you get the heated knife... Not a game breaker, but it does look bad and does not seem to difficult to troubleshoot.
