Bug or not a bug? Subnautica (um) 1

Ok so I moved all my games to a dedicated drive recently.
I fired up Subnautica and noticed my Septic Sam was gone so I dug up the old code from the live stream event and found it doesn't work (Error code A (I think)).
Did a search on the forums and unless I'm using poor search terms I found nothing on the subject.
Are we unable to regain the item? Kinda bummed that I lost it I like to build big bases and decorate them lol.

Would love it if there was a fix.
I had no idea moving Subnautica to another drive would make me lose sam.
Almost like they'll have to make some sort of DLC for Steam so reinstalling the game won't make you lose special items or just make sure the code work forever in the game.

Well small update.
Not worth bumping this old topic.
I'm unsure why or even how but I got Sam back when I created my next play through after I built my rocket in my first save.
(Same time I'm hoping updating this doesn't bump it anyway lol)
