Just a good question.. Where can one go to post or find a list of bad admins?

ex: kick/banning a player when they are doing extremely good and own the admin playing.

I love playing Natural Selection and I am tired of watching marine admins booting alien skulk players cause they are getting whooped.
Even better is when the lerk uses umbra and kills an entire squad and ends up getting banned cause the admin believes em to be using hacks. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'> <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='mad.gif'>

Sorry dude. You will have to make your own list. Anyway, it will be as much hearsay as the "Ban this WONID, he is llama/h4x0r/etc..."

Seriously, I admin my own server. The only players I kick/ban are folks that use abusive language or attempt to ruin the experience for others around them (Comm spamming IPs, gorges building non-rt on res nodes, etc...)

Just a question? And I am sure the answer is no. But when you "owned" the admins on their own server, were you "verbally" abusive or overly cocky about it?

I do not mind being owned. But I seriously mind poor sportsmanship and cocky sons-a-you-know-what. Good players should let their actions speak for themselves.

I usually don't type due to the fact it gets me killed so I don't have time to talk trash.

I only start talkin trash when I'M getting flamed ALOT by marines. (ex: they got 2 hives) If they tell me to stop well then I stop and don't say anything. That's even deadlier now that I'm focused 100% on the game.. And talking trash to an admin or anyone with the tag of that server = insta bannage. Something I learnd a LONG time ago in HLDM.

It's just frustrating. There is always someone that can't accept the fact they are gettin owned. D:

Cause y'all know there are some SERIOUSLY good quality servers out there! We're talkin teamwork and fierce competition between teams. This also includes GOOD admins.

Take StarNova troopers #2 for example. Good server. The occasional jerk player but overall good and fierce.

There should be an alliance or a website or something to post about abusive and bad admins/clans/servers.

Perhaps once I get off my lazy @rse then I should make a website about bad admins. Course it would have to take ALOT of work......

You can come play at The Doom Brigade. We don't kick/ban skilled players who play fairly (no exploits/cheats). Check the signature.

At "Bigtoys Playground" I also do not ban/kick good players. I only ban/kick players with bad attitudes.

I would be very careful about creating a website that condemns admins or servers. Most servers have a large following players, meaning you may be making things worse for yourself depending on how you go about this. My suggestion would be to find a server you enjoy playing on, spend some time getting to know the folks who run the server and enjoy. Who knows, maybe you will be invited to become a serverop one day. Admins have a very tuff job and they usually dont get paid for doing it, keep that in mind.

at the end of the day, when i get my server up i'll kick the abusive and pests too, but until 1.1 comes out with the anti cheat (WHICH I HOPE IS BETTER THANT THAT **** CS USE <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'>) i will only kick suspected ppl from the server.

Just don't go back somewhere after you're booted. It's pretty simple. Also note that it's perfectly reasonable for an admin to kick a player because they are too skilled. Maybe they want their server full of unskilled players? That's their perogative. Will I put up with that as a player myself? No, but hey... it's their option. I just make the choice not to go there again. *shrug*
