  Pffff they didn't steal the idea from SN. The island turtle thing isn't something new, it's been in lore and stories for a long time now in many cultures.

  Those are very different turtles.
  They did not invent turtles.
  Turtles sporting emersed biomes in their backs is an idea presented since millennia in mythology, as pointed by @Requiemfang.
  
  Both are beautiful pieces of art though.
