Please read! Xbox one bug?

I was playing subnaitica on Xbox months ago and I saved the game and came back and since then the hotbar doesn’t work right. I can only hold the item in the 2nd slot. Whenever I move it goes back to the 2nd slot. When I check my inventory and back out it changes my hotbar completely. 1st bubble is empty 2nd is sea glide 3rd is scanner 4th is repair tool and 5th is empty. And still can only use 2nd slot. Is anybody else experiencing this? I even tried deleting the game and reinstalling it and that didn’t help. I’m 11 days and 11 hours into my game and want to play but can’t. Anyone else have this?

I have this glitch too, it’s really annoying. I’ve looked everywhere Online but can’t seem to find anything to fix it

I had this issue on my Xbox, until I messed with the controller section. I was using different settings and then set it back to default and it worked for me.
