Generation Freeze Bug

in Subnautica Bug Reporting
On occasion the terrain generation will freeze in a particular spot, and will never unfreeze unless I close the game. I cant save when the generation is frozen, meaning I could possibly lose hours of progress in a second. (which has already happened). Is there a fix for this? Does anyone know the cause?

    yep... same problem. im trying to ya know go get the power cell charger! a great item. well problem is the lily pad biome is dead. there are no creatures. the base wont spawn. the lily pads are gone. im screwed. i cant even progress the story as the story is there and wont spawn...
