a swell guy
First of all, I'd like to give mad props for your level. It is definately a server favorite for my clan, and we feel it is the best map in the game.
Unfortunately we found this seige location a few days ago. It is starting to be used on our server, and now we start to hear moans similar to when hera comes up (processing double seige).

green circle = seige. Using only 1TF and 1seige, I can seige both Silo, and Viaduct. The icons of the hive locations are slightly off, but obviously you can see that :/
You can easily fix this by moving the hive to the other side of the walkway at powersilo. This will not change gameplay from the entrance from foreboding antechamber. These distances are 1.04 compatable. I would greatly appreciate this being fixed so that ns_nothing could remain in heavy rotation on my server.

Lets just say every map has a double seige point except bast and eclipse. And almost all of these could be fixed by keeping hives in the opposite corner of the adjacent hive.
Download NSstrat http://www.mercior.com/sp_download.shtml to test your map with 1.04 distances before you release.
Oh and has for your query about double seigeing in ns_nothing, even if he moved the hive to the other side, all the commander would have to do is build another seige turret further away from the TF

Sadly it does. You have to position it just right, with 2 seiges and 1 tf.
first step of creating a level: make 2 big cylinders on the map-bottom. One has the radius of a siege, one has the radius of siege+tf.
lay them above each other and lets call them inner and outer siege ranges.
now place this ranges below every hive (in the void below the map, just to see them in the top-view).
Avoid...
- 2 inner-siege-radiuses to cross over anywere. (if, you can siege 2 hives with one siege)
- Any outer-siege-radius to touch the CC (then the hive is just too close to the CC, as long as you can reach inner siege radius easily)
- Any outer-siege-radius to touch another outer-siege-radius in a room/path were you can build inside the inner siege radiuses, too. (then 2 sieges hit 2 hives with one TF)
Now you can easily see ANY possible room to TF+siege from, any possible place for a good siege and how to defend it.
I believe his words where, the level was designed before siege could shoot through walls or whatever.
