(It will occur when 1.04 is released.)
I hope I am not the only server op that checks the main NS homepage at least 5 times a day. I keep hoping to see a post by Flayra telling us that the 1.04 server has been released. A post telling us "That you do NOT have to download this unless you run a server. In addition the news would indicate that "This patch includes all the changes in v1.01, v1.02, and v1.03 patches. A post telling us "The list of changes include....."
I think I need a support group to get me through these lean times.
As the topic title indicates, when the 1.04 server is released I will be having a party. None of you are invited. But that is a good thing. See, I plan on upgrading my linux server with the latest NS patch and then hugging it for a few hours. My server and I will share a couple of beers and revile in the motion tracking and better performance.
Whew. I am starting to feel better already. Guess I just needed to get that out of my system.
I am going to check the main NS site again. Maybe there is news....

I too will celebrate by taking off the entity stripper and expanding my maxplayers by 30% or so while still getting better performance
Just kidding.... I kid because I love, I <3 Flayra
Oh man, that's hilarious. You must made my lunchtime board-trolling worth it.

Glad I could be of service. I like to use humor instead of throwing a hissy...

Seriously, if Flayra releases 1.04 in the middle of the day I will be leaving work early. I have my priorities straight!!!
1.02 huh? Well, get that party started... 1.02 has been out for weeks. Freudian slip?

Could I barter you down for 100 green M&Ms? Maybe admin privlidges to my server?
Nah, just kidding. I would never let Mr. Evil have admin privs!!
Um.... revile? I think you mean revel.
From www.dictionary.com:
revile: To assail with abusive language; vituperate. See Synonyms at scold
revel: 1.To take great pleasure or delight: She reveled in her unaccustomed leisure. 2. To engage in uproarious festivities; make merry.
Reminds me of the time my croatian buddy was telling me on IRC how he was going to University for his "psychics" (physics) degree.

Thanks Mom!!!
Now I know how folks feel when I correct their grammar and spelling. This post was made in the heat of the moment. Please hold it against me.
Seriously, you are correct. I do (and did) know the difference between revel and revile. Call it a brain fart.
BTW, both words apply to the situation. I will revel in the latest version of the NS server. But I often revile my computers.
I appreciate all the effort you made responding to my spelling error. The world is better for it.
One variation (attributed to Benjamin Franklin) goes as follows:
A little neglect may breed mischief: for want of a nail the shoe was lost; for want of a shoe the horse was lost; and for want of a horse the rider was lost.
Other variations include:
For want of a nail, the shoe was lost. For want of a shoe, the horse was lost. For want of a horse, the king was lost. For want of a king, the kingdom was lost, and all for want of a nail.
For want of a nail, the shoe was lost. For want of a shoe, the horse was lost. For want of a horse, the rider was lost. For want of a rider, the battle was lost. For want of a battle, the kingdom was lost. And all for the want of a horseshoe nail.
For want of a nail, the shoe was lost. For want of the shoe, the horse was lost. For want of the horse, the rider was lost. For want of the rider, the battle was lost. For want of the battle, the kingdom was lost. And all for the want of a nail.
Thank you Bartlett's!

Nope. I am pretty sure my signature says I am looking for the author of the quote. It mentions nothing about looking for the the quote itself. I read this quote a very long time ago and am positive that the author is either French or Slavic. I will someday find the authors name.
Yes, your quote is very nice and somewhat relevant, its just not what I am looking for.
Thanks for playing.
BTW, if you would like to continue this discussion lets take it off-line. The "Server and Server Operators" forum is not the place to discuss and debate the finer qualities of the English language. There is an e-mail icon at the bottom of my post, feel free to use it.
