1.04i Question

I just came from a few games on a 1.04i server (the ReD Skulk Pit), and I have a question. Is there anything in the changelist about skulks? It seemed like the bitegun had been seriously downgraded. I bit a light marine eight times once, (should be 600 damage), and he didn't go down. Now, I'm not sure waht the upgrade status was for marines, but this seemed ludicrous. At the beginning of the game, it seemed like skulkbites just weren't nearly as deadly.
We seemed to be dying faster, too, but I'll write that off to skill on the marines' part. But you can't use skill to negate point-blank damage.

(also, where can I even SEE a 1.04<letter> changelist? People always seem to quote from them, and I've never seen the full list before.)

Skulks not biting properly could be lag. What was your ping? if you remember? Aparently hitscan weapons (all guns) have the lagcorrection thing going on while melee (is that how you spell it?) weapons dont. Havnt heard any other complaints about this, and such an error would probably be all over general the instant 1.04i was out. When was it out anyways?

maybe it was the carapace nerf, but I dunno. It wasn't so much a problem of dying fast as it was of not registering bites or something.
Pings were all sub-150, I believe. And some of these were bites on standing/crouching marines. Could have been the crouch hitbox bug, but some of them WERE standing up...

Anyway, my original question's answered (for the better, even though my connection is apparently in need of some work), but there's one other I'd like answered:
Where can we see 1.04 beta changelogs? I figure beta server operators have them, but why can't us forum peons see them too? Oh and, overall carapace is NOT downgraded, don't start any rumors, it's because they put in a tier-system for the carapace,
lv.1 carapace = 16 armor,
lv. 2 carapace = 23 armor,
lv. 3 carapace = 30 armor.
(these are skulk values)

Well... since on a skulk in 1.03,
lv.1 carapace = 30 armor,
lv.2 carapace = 30 armor,
lv.3 carapace = 30 armor...
...wouldn't that be a downgrade for the level 1 and 2 carapace?

In 1.03 they took less damage per upgrade, but always had 30 carapace.
In 1.04 they take less damage on the first upgrade, but in the second and third upgrades, it only upgrades the amount of carapace they have, not how strong it defends.

Yeah. It's very irritating, and makes high ping skulks unworkable. It also makes hitting marines that are running away a lot harder to hit.
And I thought third level carapace now was identical to 1.03?
maybe an ETA on 1.04, so I can play on my fav server with it?

Whadya mean? It's as good as ever, better in fact since the GL and mines get such broken benefits.
