A result of months of hard slacking
The time has come to release my texture wad. It is currently being used for my map ns_thea, hence a few of the textures are specialised (2 of them at last count), but that still leaves 78 others for you to play with. I hope these can be as successful as wall_lab. Download, and post any comments/bugs here.

A Natural Selection texture collection.
---------
Description:
80 textures for use in Natural Selection maps. Approximately half are based of the textures of Cory "Squeal Like A Pig" Strader and Kevin "Relic25" Roberts from the Natural Selection ns.wad, the other half are either public domain or created by myself. Apart from v_dan_rock, which was created by my 8 year old brother Daniel, bless him.
This wad varies in quality. I am still learning, but I hope you find use for at least a few. If you do happen to use any textures in a released map, please credit me in the map readme (or easter egg) as appropriate. (You do not have to keep all of the textures inside the wad, as long as there is credit given. Its a big enough wad, and some poor souls still have 56K.) Sending an email to fam@box7.co.uk with a link to the map would be grand too.
These textures must only be used for Natural Selection purposes.
Thanks and Best Wishes to the following:
Bozman: For being a map test lackey.
Flayra and Cory: For being the best (and possibly the strangest) role models a person could have.
Grendel: For the f****** can of Sprite.
Jeff Paris: For enlightening me on French art communes.
ken20banks: For telling me the reality that there was only one good texture in the entire wad. :)
KungFuSquirrel: For making me get off my lazy behind and learn how to do this texturing/mapping lark.
Mart & Zoe: For everything. :)
MonsE: For being a nipplemonster, ahah!
snowfox: For making me map like my life depended upon it.
Zazi: For asking for assorted textures at 4AM in the morning.
Enjoy
Mark James

Very nice textures!
I quite like v_dan_rock, you'll make a fine lad out of young Daniel.
Fantastic.
Still downloading, I'm sure there will be excellent textures here
[EDIT] Thanks to do loveley texture release by Fam I got a darker looking map. Yay! I won't overuse the textures, as they will look better on ns_thea [EDIT]
It would've been far better to shrink all those 192x192 doors down to 128x128, since it reduces their memory size by half and still has the same quality in-game... 192's, 96's and 48's will just be blurry.
I like what you did otherwise, there's some really nice visuals contained in here.
Fam, after looking more closely at the WAD i found ALOT more textures i like. And be blessed for your overlays, can?t have enough of them

Those textures are all ones based on original ns.wad textures.

I'll keep that in mind for next time. Makes sense now I come to think about it.
I'v started using them for my ns map
I´d like to second the request for a version of v_techwall_logo without the logo, and maybe have the backgound be "blank" like in v_techwall4. I could use this OH so well! i wish id know how you did that "screen" effect 8)
