<div class="IPBDescription">Is it possible to change the brightness?</div> I have my gamma pretty high in NS (sorry if you think its cheating..) so pretty much lose my mini map which i think is a waste...

Is it possible to change how bright the mini map is..? If its any indication how dark i want it to be, i want it to be how it is normally but under Asus Colour Configuration is 3 and NS is on 100..

anyone help? I thought this would be the most reasonable place to ask.

The mini maps for the several maps are sprites. So if you want to have a better contrast you have to edit the sprites and change their colours.

there is somewere a sprite viewer... and a sprite maker.. search with google, its easy, you can change the colors with paint and then reconvert to a sprite

-there you go. I'd advise looking for a tutorial too though because the options for compiling a sprite can be a little confusing at first.

Essentilly all that needs to be done is make the grey parts of the maps black in any paint program (save them as 256 colour bitmaps), then remake the sprites (make them in "alphatest" mode).
