To bad that by the time that this console is prjected to come out, sony will most likely have a near monopoly on game software, so any new consoles will be a mute point. That is, unless XboX can pull off their "we give people superior hardware" thing.
All consoles usually have a lifespan of 4 years or so. I believe SNES came out in 93, and the NES was first out near 88-89. N64 came out around 97, so they really do follow a pattern, folks. Same with computers, though. Everyone knows that if you want to play the newest games, you have to upgrade at least once every four years, if not sooner (when technology makes those hiccups known as gigantic leaps)
SNES? I believe it came out in 92, as i had to move in 93 and i remember having the SNES the christmas before. I swear, Super Mario World was the only videogame either of my parents have ever played with me.

Look out Playstation 3 ! Wow, I don't know if they can recover from this bomb shell.
Works now. It's mostly content-less though. Everyone knew that Nintendo had to be working on a new console to stay in the race with Sony(and Microsoft), this just confirms it.
