Boondock Marines Video

<div class="IPBDescription">It's official, but what do you want?</div> Ok, there's not much point keeping this secret because it's more fun to get excited.

A music video is in production for the popular Natural Selection fan song Boondock Marines. The video will primarily contain ingame footage as well as overlays and some special stuff.

The video is being created using Adobe Premiere as this is an industry standard video editing suite.

However, a fan video is nothing if the fans don't have a say right? So keeping in mind that it will primarily contain ingame footage, what sort of things would you like to see included? Have you got any cool ideas? All ideas should reflect the lyrics.

Post them all here and I promise every single one will be considered and some may even make it into the final cut.

    when the commander gets ejected, EJECT him.. like off of the map. Or something equally overdone. *shrug* my favorite part of the rap is the first 20 seconds or so.

    bahh, i've got some good ideas but it's too late. it sounds like it'll be a good idea though. i'm real good when it comes to tying in music with footage, unfortunately i can only offer you one piece of work and even that isn't that great. i'll post my thoughts and ideas tommorrow.

    In the beginning when the marine is like comm can we get a turret factory andear the then u hear the skulk chuckle and he like "aww hell NO!" have in game footage of 2 marines building a tf. and have skulk come behind them and growl and have the marines whip around and be like hell no. After they blast the skulk do the F#$% your waypoint part ingame and then eject the comm. Honestly this rap is better than most of the ones released by people who make millions to make those songs.     I would like to see a metal/rock song for Natural selection, rap isnt realy my music style.. but i have to say, this song is funny

    Yeah, the video is being done with cooperation from IFB, EGC, and EC. We're getting a lot of people to make it, and its coming out good from what frances tells me.

    For the line fairly early on, "But drop a phase cause I don't feel like running the lap", have Kaishi drop it to squish the newly-ejected unnamed commander just for kicks and giggles.


    And make sure you consider removing the voogru line, or at least getting permission from voogru himself before having it there. Even better, take his suggestion on what should be shown in the video for that line.
