Help With Gamma

  If you have, try firestorm's way, but first just type "gamma" in the console so you can see what yours is currently set to. Then adjust it properly.

  type powerstrip in the google search engine download it you might need to pay but it contols most all cards
  you can majorly nerf your gamma and clock speed (not recomended btw)

  Just use your console to do what firestorm said. You don't need to do it in any of your .cfgs
  
  
  But still, if you have WinXP, you should download those drivers. I was getting the same problem with my new computer (has WinXP but no Nvida or whatever card), but the drivers fixed it for me.

  put gamma XXX in autoexec.cfg where XXX is the gamma value you want.

  Yes, those are the ones that made my screen a bit brighter in NS. Then I just changed my gamma via the console to fix the rest. (You have to restart NS for the gamma changes to take effect. Its better to change it in-game.)
