    As it says in the <a href="http://www.natural-selection.org/cgi-bin/ikonboard/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=4;t=100" target="_blank">mapping forum FAQ</a>, head over to the <a href="http://www.natural-selection.org/MappingGuidelines.htm" target="_blank">mapping guidelines</a>.

    perhaps something should be learnt from this...it is a recurring theme with people not knowing where the specifications for ns maps are.

    A suitable section to the main site with direct links to the mapping forum FAQ would not go amiss...do you agree?

    Reading the Mapping Forum FAQs is also suggested for new mappers. In that post, it boldly marks the location of the Mapping Guidelines. <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->

    Well, not to be persnickitey DarthDivi, but the mapper's guidelines are also linked to at RR.org, in the NS.org news section, in the Forums in several spots, and in the NSTR2 shortcuts created after installation. The only way to map is with the NSTR2, so if you installed it, the mapping guidelines are right up in your kitchen.

    I don't know what else to say. I suppose I could rent a skywriter...

    it was just an opinion and one that is still held, its not immediatly apparent where to go for mapping information from ns.org, <b>I</b> wouldnt expect to find all the important mapping links under "community" (tho in the context of the site thats the logical place they would be, other than the FAQ)

    sorry if you disagree   <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->

    ROFL

    erm, the 1st thing you -should- do before posting in a forum is read the rules, so the guidelines should be the 1st place people go to (btw: its pretty easy to find mapping info on NS, well for me anyway)
