<div class="IPBDescription">Overview</div> -The Red paths are Vents
-The Black lines on the vents means you can weld that part shut
-The White squres in the middle of the vents means that they are points where you can crawl out of the vents
-The white squares with the black dot in them are just like normal "Drop offs" (as above) but you can weld these shut
-The black lines on the map represent doors that you can "Use" to open/close them.
The background:
On the desert world of Terra Alpha 6 lies an underground research facility dubbed "Thor". Thor rests nearly 1 km underground, to protect it's inhabinats fromt he scorching crust of TA6. Their research involves Terra Forming technology to make alien worlds breathable to humans, and various other things aswell, like climate control to customize a planet's temerature. Only known to the Confederancy Goverment, and only 4 employees of Thor, they have recently been tampering with Alien Specimens found in space by a scout crew.
The Marines got the distress call 4 days too late. As they manuvered thier Dropship through the automatic bay doors; opening on the scorching surface, they noticed a strange growing organism covering the entire walls of the underground complex. Thats when all hell broke loose...
In this map, the Aliens have a great an easy acess to most of it. Most of the corriders have square corners, making it look like a more "rushed" building. Some corners (as you can see) are rounded off. These are the main walk ways, and a bright-ish texture will be used to make it look "cheery" when it was built. As you near the hives; the walls will be covered with the green stuff; not to mention some green bits around the docking bay (Commander start location). Maybe we should through in a quick Dropship model?
If you think *I'M* going to map this, you got another thing coming! I have troubles making BOXES with HL....
I'll make more map overviews for you guys, but they're going to be pretty simple. This is the best I can do, but expect me to get better. I'm a concept artist, so tell me what you want and I'l do my best to make it for you.

- you obisiously have no idea about r_speeds, gameplay and map editing if you want to keep that straight corridoors and crossings. change this.
- Bad hive placement if it coems to hive to hive and hive to CC distances. not moaning about siefind the NE hive.
- worst ressource and path placement Ive ever seen. Best thing marines can do from the start is nonstop suiciding.
go redesign it or make a killbox map.
