Yes, the wait is over. You can stop camping the forums and go to sleep! For I've put all of the weapon statistics up at the creatively-named <a href='http://www.geocities.com/kitsune/104stats.htm' target='_blank'>http://www.geocities.com/kitsune/104stats.htm</a>. So now y'all get to see the impact of the new carapace system. The 1.03 and 1.04e pages are both still up, at ns_stats.htm and 104estats.htm, respectively, in case you want to compare.

Way to go, Half-Life engine.... This confirms what I've always thought, pistol is just better against lerks if your weapons aren't upgraded.

Fades tend to demoralize any Marine equipped with less than an HMG, GL, and Heavy Armor.
Rarely do I reload the weapons, because you just don't have enough time to usually, especially the HMG - that thing has sickly long reload time.
I need something that will play the sound file of the bugle charge whenever I see a fade and rush him <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> That would = win!

And the damage of the welder vs alien structures? Like 8.4 seconds to take down a node, etc.
Also, yes, Fades do demoralize, and I ran straight at one with all I had, ran out of ammo, and used my knife. Surprisingly about stab #4 he went down. Marine behind me watching couldnt stop laughing. Why he still insisted on acid rockets at point blank, we'll never know.

I have a suggestion. Would it be possible for you to include structures? It would be tremendously interesting and helpful to know just how many LMG or siege shots it takes to nail hives, OCs and such, though I can see how the healing factor could be problematic with such calculations. Knowing how many bites it takes to kill a sentry or a TF would be kind of neat too.
BTW, I thought direct grenade damage was back to 200 in 1.04?
As for structures, I did some quick poking at them tonight and got the following health numbers. I had to do some guessing, rounding to the nearest round number, since 75-damage Skulk bites don't give very precise results.

Kitsune: Good work again. Only one thing; i'm not sure about the ammo/mouvement issue. I never noticed it but o well maybe it's just me. Maybe we can ask the devs about this.

See if you can do it with "legitimate" cheats, such as setting up an admin mod server and admin_godmode ing yourself.
I can imagine some of the clannies from TFC creating a rule that would prevent anyone chasing the onos...
