<div class="IPBDescription">NS in Custom Gaming League</div> A brand new type of league is opening up this coming Saturday at noon (12:00pm) Pacific Standard Time. Custom Gaming League [ <a href='http://www.cglhq.com' target='_blank'>http://www.cglhq.com</a> ] will be very unique in several different ways. Below is a brief list of some of the new features of this league:
Custom maps! Half-Life-based games will be played mainly on custom maps. For non-HL games, default maps will be played, until more custom maps are developed (at which time they will be incorporated into the league).
Custom gear! Custom models, skins, sounds, and crosshairs are legal at CGL. Players must choose from a list of pre-approved legal custom items, or submit their own for approval by their league's admins. To resolve cheating, all matches will require demos and screenshots to be taken by both teams, which will be submitted to league admins after each match.
Less restrictive scheduling! Matches will be played from Monday through Friday, with times being decided between the two teams. This will resolve most of the problems related to other gaming leagues, as well as forfeits due to lack of available players. All results must be posted no later than noon PST on Saturday; if your scores are not posted by this time, then both teams will forfeit. All schedules are posted Sunday evening and early Monday morning.

Not only will this league feature all of these games (which few leagues are doing right now), but it will also feature several league types.
As of right now only the forums are online, but the entire site and sign-ups will open on Saturday, February 1st at 12:00pm PST. If you have any questions you can go to #cglhq on irc.gamesnet.net or use the forums, which are linked above. So get your clans ready for the biggest war to date!
