<div class="IPBDescription">bit of sound lag, and lag</div> K im running Gforce 2, 800 hertz , ADSL [ fast internet].
Most games i run a ping like 90 to 200 depending on how many poeple and so on.
My problem is that im still lagging.
I bite with skulk and the sound comes 1 second later. And i can hardly c the skulks even without celerity.
I run my rate 2500

Ps. DOD is much better with this connection.

Maybe a better sound card is needed?

    Great! You have an ADSL line like me. I also get general lag within NS, which seems to be caused by the playing of the sounds themselves. Notice your ping spikes when a sound plays suddenly etc. As for the lagging of the sound, rather than buying a new sound card, try getting the latest drivers for your current one and see if that helps. If it doesn't, buy more RAM - that should help a little as NS is an intensive game. If all else fails, then get another sound card just as a last resort. IF THAT DOESN'T HELP, then you'll just have to live with a 1 second lag like the rest of us.

    I think i need a new sound card as it does lag when theres more sounds etc.
    My mates machine is nearly the same and he has no problems because he has different sound card. Mine is fairly old 2.
