This is the line I use
<!--c1--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->hlds.exe -game ns +map ns_tanith _nopix +maxplayers 18<!--c2--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--ec2-->
After about 20seconds of it going through packfile? it says
<!--c1--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->No masters parsed from woncomm.lst
Using default master<!--c2--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--ec2-->
I have no way of testing this till i go the the next LAN. Is it supposed to say that? And if not what am I doing wrong??

looks like a networking issue... are you trying to set up a dedicated LAN server or one available over the net? when hlds starts up, it communicates with the master servers (which adds it to their list) with the addresses provided in the woncomm.lst file. sounds like the DNS is not working on that box, altho it doesnt seem to prevent it from starting up
more info would be helpful... otherwise, good luck

And "using default master" should cause a problem. It just means that you didn't specify new master servers. It isn't a big deal.
