At the bottom, NS is Mod of the Year...all good and dandy eh? Except when you look at the screenshot, its from a Beta of NS! In fact it looks exactly the same as a screenshot posted in NS.org's screenshot section here:

Seriously...these guys get paid to write this stuff and they cant even get an actual screen <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> I write inaccurate stuff all the time, can I be a journalist too? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

I guess GameSpy learnt from Blizzard. Ever noticed how on the back of Blizzard games all the scrrenshots are from the alpha or beta versions of the game? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
My roommate came running in saying that DoD was mod of the year on GameSpy. Dunno where he got that idea from though.
Most likely from here:
<a href='http://www.fileplanet.com/bestof2002/mods/results.asp' target='_blank'>http://www.fileplanet.com/bestof2002/mods/results.asp</a>
... and that vote count of 9999 is not suspicious at all? (Bottle of Jone's soda anyone!)

First, Unreal Tournament 2003 will run on an incredibly wide variety of systems. It's refreshing to find a game that can scale, and scale well. With the details turned down, UT2003 is playable on a sub-1 GHz machine using a mid-range 3DFX Voodoo card, meaning an extremely large audience can enjoy the title.
Second, UT2003 is also pointing the way for the future of PC graphics. In the past, every visible object had to be created using minimal polygon counts, and extremely limited tools. UT2003's system of static meshes allows artists to create objects that designers can then place into their levels at whim. This reduces the time the designer must spend crafting individual objects. As detail continues to increase, expect this system to become the standard way in which 3D games are built.
Extremely good looking, mindful of the past, and blazing a path to the future, Unreal Tournament 2003 was an easy choice for best PC Graphics.
<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->From every single review I've read, scalable would NOT be the term I would apply to their graphics engine.
So well put.
