Proposed Change For The Lerk In 1.1

<div class="IPBDescription">carrying aliens....</div> I think it would be a versitile idea if the lerk could pick up aliens and fly them around. Like a troop transport. It would add a whole new dimension for alien deployment.
He could lift that gorge into that vent that would require going gorge>skulk>gorge to do. He could fly the gorge to the next hive to save time and speed up deployment.
He could carry a skulk and fly into battle with spikes blazing and drop a skulk in the waiting arms of a marine.
I think some limitations should apply like no onos carrying heh.
The possiblities go on and on!

Well actually now if you are a gorge, you dont have to evolve to a skulk and then back to gorge when you need to go in to a vent. You can ask someone to boost you up. For example: ask one skulk there under that vent. Jump on top of him and then start to jump. Every time you jump that skulk keeps climbing up that wall....keep doing it until you reach that vent <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> Or jump on to a lerk, it works same way. But that troop transport you suggested would be interesting. When aliens have 3 hives, lerk could carry a skulk in to a group of marines and then blow himself up with xenocide <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> Or carrying gorge while he is dropping babblers or shooting web everywhere....

I have seen a skulk boosting a gorge into a vent, and boy did that look funny.
Its only natural for the lerk to lend his air support for his slower troops.
Onos on lerk rofl.
It let's you lift gorges. Allowing Lerks to lift Skulks and items has been suggested as well so we'll see what happens. Check page 2 for screenshots.
Magin if a lerk could pick up a skulk and they had Xenocide!!! BOMBS AWAY!!!!!!

Pick up gorge, fly to top of refinery/viaduct etc and drop... I have yet to try the pluggin so I dont know if this would work but shouldnt a gorge do damage if dropped from high enough onto a marine?
Plus your lerk would have to use perfect aim... just a few inches off and your favorite gorgie goes splat...

on my server the lerks usually carry excess gorges (gorgii ?) over to the marine base and make a swooping drop.
gorge goes splat pretty fast.
