I just want to tell you about a wonderful replacment I did.
First of all, I switched the LMG with the Grenade Launcher model, then I downloaded a new GL model from Delaros and MM1's skin site ( <a href='http://www.neotech.cc/~rose/' target='_blank'>http://www.neotech.cc/~rose/</a> ) and replaced the Grenade launcher.
THEN
I stole the M3 Shotgun sound from CS and replaced NS's shotgun sound. Just my custom copy of NS. I feel like I'm showing off a custom car... anyways, i recomend this, it's a great refreshment. But you should backup your models...
Now, I have a request for the sound of the HMG:
Keep it the same, but I want to hear the "clink" of the shells hitting the floor. Thats it,

nobody really pays attention to that anyway.
the shell sounds are held in sounds/player pl_shell1.wav>pl_shell3.wav
you can figure thhe rest out...
