Pretty certain: '"Big" lerk changes, new maps, HLTV support, new Kharaa resource model (Making multiple gorges a feasible strategy).
Less certain: New GL model, major Kharaa gameplay changes (All evolutions always available, for example).
You heard wrong, that would be HORRABLE!!! Think about it, the normal attack of an onos can kill a normal marine in 1-2 hits!!! I cant belive you would even belive that...

You thinking of species dopey. An evolution is carapace, celerity, cloaking etc.
The suggestion is that you can get all the towers up with the first hive.
Anyway, it's not definitely in. It may be tried. We'll let you know how it turns out.
I also wouldn't be surprised if an idea like this is combined with switching Blink and Acid Rocket for Fades - they would be forced to melee until Hive 2 came up.
also, in the interview Flayra said that there was a possiblity that the changed rez model would not go into 1.1 (If it were to seriously delay the release)
Yes. There was talk about making it about 70, and rise with more hives, but Flayra figured that keeping it at 100 all the time would appear more professional.
im sure you've all played pubs where there is an onos in your base, and your ENTIRE marine team, as they spawn in, cannot kill it by itself.
granted, a good team should be able to kill one with concentrated fire, but while they are doing this, the skulks should be tearing the distracted marines apart <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

An onos early game is still going to be almost impossible. lets face it, saving up 100 res will take a long time and that's assuming that the marines haven't stolen the majority of the res nodes early on.
remember, just b/c it will be avaliable does NOT meen that it will show up, yes peopel are going to try and just save all their reaz for an onos (assuming this idea goes through whuch is not stated ANYWHERE, simply discussed), however once people realize that 80 rez that early in the game is not a goof thing to blow on an onos b/c there will simply be people hunting your **** down

@Twilite do a search i nthe forums for Fade or blink IT DOES WORK, you just have to learn how to use it.
