Important Question Regarding The Wads

<div class="IPBDescription">read on</div> Ok, I;m a newb at this, but whatever. Gotta ask: in the wall_lab.wad file theres a texture that says

"Do NOT Use wall_lab.wad - NS Devs"

Just wondering... really? Are we not allowed, or is that just a texture that wasn't removed..?

    go through the ns.wad and search for "wall_lab".

    The Wall_lab textures were moved into the ns.wad

    actually... sorry for wasting everyone time (might as well delete this thread) but that texture is the ONLY one in that wad anyways

    Merk and I were fixing issues with duplicate textures and whatnot shortly before release, and we moved all the new wall_lab textures into ns.wad from wall_lab.wad to make things easier on everyone -- unfortunately, ns_caged still contained references to wall_lab.wad, so while the textures were found in the new ns.wad, we weren't able to get in touch with manah quickly enough to be able to delete the file. So Merk recommended I make the "do not use" texture.     cool, cool. well, no harm done, but nice to know why (was thinking of deleting it - i do stupid things like that). heh, thanks fer the time for something as little as this. i know fer sure that ths forums gonna be a VERY good place to interact and discuss NS, <b>without</b> flames, etc. nice to be a part of it all.

    It took weeks just to get the concept sketched out on paper. Actually implementing the utterly deep color designs and subtle highlights took months more.
