No, seriously, maybe there's a program out there that records the sound streaming out of the speakers, and then you have to clik Record and Stop att the exact right times. But I unfortunately do not know of such program.

Stienbergs WaveLab is the easiest thing to use for cropping and changing sounds. As far as getting DVD sounds and stuff I have no idea. I know there are some programs out there just go to google and search.

device out.. to pc soundcard input and use totalrecorder to grab the sounds. thats what i have done for doing home movies from VCR tapes. Works like a charm.
