    That hive is a jetpackers heaven.

    I'd add some stuff so that you can't really sit on the ceiling and shoot the hive.

    I love this hive... And don't worry about jetpacks, what with the Lerk changes in 1.1 I think we'll be able to counter them quite easily.

    That hive is one of the best I've seen on this forum to date (game play wise).
    Very nice job!
    I especially like your attention to lighting detail.

    O_o now that i do think (not that often). wut is a mess hall and how should it look like?.

    ok. thx for the comments guys. I do still think i need some more detail work as r_speeds are not too high still (~500) and the lighting in the hive part...maybe ill add some red contrast there.

    oh yeah youre right. i tried to use the "blue with infestation" texture in func_illusionary, solid but it doesnt recognize it (the blue) and draws the blue also (not trasparent as it should) <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> i did it on the floor and ceiling, as like it is right now, it feels a bit empty.

    A Mess Hall Is Kind of like the place you hang out, like the front room / living room / lounge.

    Nice Map shots, got to say they beat the stuffing out of my (and most forum mappers) map. The hive is very good indeed, detailed with textures correctly placed and lighting that balances out well.

    One other note, how did you get your overview background a colour not "Green" ?

    That hive definitely looks really great. If the rest of your map is up to par with that room, you've got a surefire winner.

    wow blueman.... that looks just gorgeus...... i think its ok with the jetpackers....... the aliens must have a way to counter them =) its their problem.... not yours.
