<div class="IPBDescription">Very curious.</div>Okay, well in the first place this topic is not mod related. In fact it's not related to anything that has to do with games, computers or whatever. But I was very curious about this, so I thought I'd post this. And to be honest, I think you should know about this. Here goes.

Today, a politician in my country (Pim Fortuyn) has been shot six times. He's probably dead, but we still aren't sure yet. I wanted to know if you guys have heard about this.

    Yea, the SPIEGEL brought an article about him.
    From what I can gather Fortuyn was pretty extremistic.
    This does of course not justify the murder, but I was suprised not to read about this extremists success before his death - guess Le Pen was a little too omnipresent in the media.

    Yeah, he was pretty extreme in his ideas. I didn't like him either, but still, I don't think that's a reason for killing him. I'm really angry. Although I don't agree with him, he certainly pointed out a few problems to solve, even though he didn't come up with a solution himself. But now they kill him, and his ideas will probably die with him <!--emo&:(--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('><!--endemo-->.

    Though I don't agree with the late Mr. Fortuyn's standpoint, I send you my condolences for this terrible act.

    Pim Fortuyn said he didn't want to be associated with Le Pen, though both are right-winged. I wonder if that had anything to do with Mr. Fortuyn being ###, and Le Pen an anti-###.

    My parents were in Holland just last week.

    Hmm I didn't like him and I don't really care he's dead, prolly cuz it didn't happen in my country. Violence is bad and doesn't solve anything. Is it just me or are conservative parties gaining ground all over europe? Even in Belgium we have Vlaamsblok...

    U lot are gonna probally flame me for this, but a few of his policys made sense, take for example immegrant intergration, i lived in a place where there where alot of immagrents live and our community tried to intergrate with them but they wont have anything to do with us, i mean an old guy got beaten up because he went in there copmmunity, not our community but there community, i say When in Rome do as the Romans, which is basicaly what pim was saying, i mena i got spat at when walking down the the street once and calling me "english scum" now what i dont get is if they hate english ppl so much why move here, its not just one or two in the community its pretty much 90% of them, they say they try to but they creat a closed community and dont intergrate, i aint racist but when u go to live in someone elses country u treat the ppl with respect and addapt to there way of live.
